Our first order arrived with a normal appearance, but did not work at all. Here is an enormous thanks to Amazon, as they shipped a replacement at no extra charge on December 22 and it arrived December 24! The replacement worked well. For an expensive wall clock it has a nice appearance and keeps time well.
